Big thanks to everyone that came along to this years AGM

Congratulations to Peter Wong on his election as Chair, Liz Doe as Vice Chair, and Jacob Takel as Treasurer. Another congratulations to all the Trustees and Youth Member Representatives that were re-elected, with Dave Andrews, Liz Doe, Jacob Takel, Joel Beswick, Peter Wong, Anna Wright, and Dylan James maintaining their place on the board. Finally, we are proud to welcome Chris Parry onto the management board as a youth member representative, and Andrea Heath as a trustee.

The meeting included an outline of future development plans, a couple of the key development plans included;

Redevelopment of the Old Bingo Hall. The bingo hall (roof and interior) is in need of repair. A plan is being developed to undertake this project. The bingo hall would potentially house new practice rooms and recording studios, which would free up space above the cafe for a new dance / yoga studio.

Interim Plans. Partitions will be used to create an enclosed meeting space in the lobby area of the main hall. A plan is being developed to extend the upstairs meeting room into the space currently used as an IT office.
