On Friday 13th March a Cardiff Metropolitan University student on placement organised a talent contest to raise money for Red Nose Day! Lindsey Dewitt worked with members of the Inclusive Youth Provision and 9 acts performed on the night. The variety of talent made for a fantastic show. Acts included a comedy sketch as well as an improvisational comedy duo. …
Firstly, thanks to our volunteers: Max, Jason, and Jo! The garden is already looking much tidier and plans are underway to transform the space with a variety of flowers and shrubs through the spring and summer months. If you’d like to get involved see our Volunteering section!

As part of BBC Children in Need, Cathays’ Inclusive Youth Provision (IYP) received a special visit from Wales international rugby union player Craig Mitchell! It was half term last week and so Teenscheme and Young Adults Project (YAP) ran everyday with fun activities for all the young people to get involved in. Youth members of Howardian Youth Centre and other centres will be hosting a special event at The Abacus, Cardiff in response to the council’s cuts to the youth service: Save Our Youth Centres Cardiff Showcase. There will be live music and performances, and entry is FREE. Date and time: Sunday 15th February 2015 from 17:00–21:00 at The Abacus, 18-20, St Davids House, Wood Street, CF10 1ER.
