Cathays

As you may be aware, the Embassy Cafe will be ceasing to operate as a commercial enterprise. This difficult decision was agreed by Cathays and Central Youth and Community Project Management Board in May.
Staff, trustees and other interested members of the local community have explored many options for improving the viability of the Embassy Cafe but unfortunately the sustained financial loss can no longer be subsidised by the charity.

Opening times from July 2nd 2013:

• MON-FRI: 12pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm
• SATURDAY: 9:30am-1:30pm
• SUNDAY: CLOSED

The cafe will be run as a social enterprise from the end of June. Until the autumn, the cafe won’t be regularly serving hot food. There will be a limited service of drinks and cake during this time while the cafe is staffed by volunteers.
We are hoping to resume a lunch service from October, and will endeavour to keep customers informed.
