New Volunteer Opportunities
Cathays Youth and Community Centre would like to recruit volunteers for the following two positions:
Community Café Volunteer
Embassy Café is now being run and managed by volunteers.
We are currently in a period of transition with a limited menu but our aim is to resume a full, lunchtime menu in the near future and to widen our community use.
We are looking for new volunteers to join our current team to be involved in supporting and developing the centre’s ambitions and to be out front to provide a warm welcome to centre users and members of the public using the café.
Garden Project Volunteer
Earlier in the year the garden was transformed with the help of a grant from Wooden Spoon.
We are looking for volunteers to help maintain and develop our modest garden that has become an island of green space in the city centre.
The position would be great for somebody who can work independently, is ambitious about sustainable development, has basic gardening skills and is able to give a few hours a week.
